Awarded Setting: Elm Cottage - Crescent Park
Elm Cottage- Crescent Park is very proud and thrilled to have been awarded Millie’s Mark for the 3rd time.
We are a small chain nursery with 20 staff and 85 children currently on roll. Our sister nursery was one of the very first nurseries to receive Millie’s Mark and this inspired us to join the process. Millie’s Mark has reinforced the importance of first aid for us as a nursery and our whole nursery team. We regularly discuss scenarios in our monthly meetings and ensure the competency questionnaires are completed and reviewed to support ongoing staff training and development.
We feel that the process has been a great reflective experience and would highly recommend it to other nurseries.
