Awarded Setting: Yeladenu

 

Yeladenu Preschool is absolutely delighted to have been awarded Millie’s Mark for the third time! We first achieved it in July 2017, were re-awarded in Feb 2021 and have just heard that we have been successful again in January 2024.

From the day we opened our doors in 2004 we have always realised the importance of having every member of staff, whether educator, security or administrator, trained in PFA. Having Millie’s Mark ensures that we are always on the ball with First Aid. We are more aware of potential risks and near misses.

We continue testing ourselves, filling out the staff confidence audit twice a year, having quizzes, practicals and role plays and still hold a slot in our weekly staff meetings to discuss first aid.
